The i-Quip Team
i-Quip currently boasts a team of three - all of whom are currently overcoming their camera-shyness to bring you photos they are happy with, we hope, early in the new year.
i-Quip is the brainchild of Founder and Managing Director Debbie Brady who took up riding to overcome her lifelong fear of horses at the age of 40. Now a gold level endurance rider, Debbie experienced first hand the frustrations of strangulating map cases and wind-blown maps, whilst fiddling in multifarious pockets for all the other bits and pieces she needed close to hand whilst in the saddle for six or more hours....and so the concept of the i-Quip competitor Gilet was born...a one stop, snug fitting, easy-on gilet to which a map case could be easily attached. Four years on and much consultation with the Endurance and Trec communities later, Debbie went into full scale manufacturing and launched i-Quip to the world at large...Debbie has two grown up daughters and a beautiful 16 hand mare called Sara who she firmly believes is the real inspiration for the gilet!
Andrew Kirk is the Business Development Brains of i-Quip, and a keen fell walker, Andy was quick to spot the applications of the i-Quip gilet in other leisure sectors as well as looking at i-Quip's broader strategic expansion. Also happy to be hands-on in the back office, you'll often find Andy sending out emails to our customer base. In his 'spare time' Andy is a practising Registered Homeopath, as well as a talented song writer. Andy has two grown up sons and currently lives on an organic farm in beautiful West Wales.
Helena Jevons is the Commercial backstop of i-Quip, and in her time has dabbled with mountain biking, canoeing and skiing. Helena is responsible for getting communications about i-Quip's general wonderfulness out into the world and helping shape all the promotion and branding for the Brites and Core Country ranges. Helena has neither animals nor children, but runs a holistic personal development company and a business consultancy from her home in the Somerset countryside in the times when she isn't playing with all things i-Quip.
