David who was involved in the development of the design had long since felt there was a need for single design to carry comfortably and effectively the important kit needed in competition .
"...I have worn the earlier prototype for some years now.. Its important to know I.ve got what I need and I know exactly where it is. Accessing essential kit saves valuable seconds which can give you a winning edge !..
The i-Quip soon became a vital piece of equipment , and I have never competed without it. "
